Razer Nari Ultimate X PDP Right headphone not working

as stated in the title the right earphone is not really working. it still does utilize the bass function of the Nari Ulti and upon testing both headphones the right side does faintly play sound but ultimately, (haha funny) it sounds super faint and almost muffled. just to assure it is a problem with my headphones and not a problem with my mode of connection I have used both a physical cable and a USB dongle. no dice. It's been an ongoing issue with these headphones since a week after I got them for my birthday back when the Pewdiepie version came out (around 2 years ago I believe) I've never been able to get a straight answer from anyone about, not from Razer or the subreddit. even when i contacted them as soon as it happened around a month after I got them. When I contact razer they basically say "oop. don't have a protection plan? can't help ya" things I have tried: Switching my USB port updating my drivers making sure the headphones are leveled via the sound control panel.
