Hello, a fellow member returned his raiju ultimate controller through the RMA process and got a new one with the v1.04 firmware inside and it works perfectly. People who tried to buy the controller a couple weeks ago said that it was out of stock pretty much everywhere. Now a new batch comes with the v1.04 inside that seems to have fixed the problems. I RMA'ed mine as well but as i talked to them they arent sure whether their stock is of the new batch here in Greece. Could u possible get us the link for the v1.04 firmware of the Ultimate (and the Tournament for those who have it) so we can finally use our controller? Thank you very much in advance!

I have been awaiting a fix regarding my Razer Raiju Ultimate for months. So now we’re on v1.04 and only seems to be attainable in the new batches? I’d like to know more in relation to the RMA process to at least get a new controller that works. I just want to be able to use my £200 controller as intended. Hopefully, support will finally be able to assist us resulting in consumers being able to use their Raiju Ultimates correctly - thus putting an end to this mess of support chains and updates relating to the controller.
Great news...unless they wont share the link like happened for 1.03.

u mean the one we couldnt upgrade from the beta tho whoever tried could and it seemed like they didnt want us to get that version? bro RMA ur controller till u get one with a v1.04, i'll do that, theres no point, i havent used my controller at all, there's a fix now and no one does anything seriously. And for some reason the new firmware isnt shared with us so just send it back till u get one with it. I dont see any other way.
bro where did u get the controller in greece ?
are they only giving the 1.04 firmware to those new controllers? Cause mine was produced in last Dec, I asked for the 1.04 but not yet got any reply from them. If older version can't get it, then they probably have made some hardware upgrades as well.

it is possible that they made some adjustments to the sticks, it is not hard to replace the old parts with some optimized new sticks and solve the drift or input problems that caused by false engineering. This sort of minor updates happens all the time in the cell phone industry.

lets say this was the case, then all we have to do is RMA it, but since its said to have the v1.04 inside then i think it was solved by firmware most likely. Also lets say Razer who has experience with the controllers tried out a different partner with cheaper parts and then fixed the problem, lets say this is the case, does this explain tho why the v1.02 solved the bluetooth delay almost completely? We know most likely that all this is a firmware problem. I will give u an example, even if the controller was heating up a lot after using it for many hours on bluetooth that could be a hardware problem or a software one. But lets say whatever it is doesnt matter and the problem was appearing cuz the battery couldnt support both the LED lighting when its on that crazy LED mode and the wireless at the same time, if with a firmware update Razer for example decreased the LED lighting would u say it was a hardware problem for not having a better battery or a software problem for not decreasing the lighting of the LED? That example could prove that the design of the controller was bad but the battery in itself has no problems, its the people who overestimated its capabilities.
In the case of the sticks, the old raiju had similar problems and was fixed within 5 or 6 updades if i remember correctly, the problems it had werent as noticeable as the ultimate and the tournament and outside Battlefield and Destiny not many complained but it still had problems and with the new firmware updates the controller became perfect. So first with the bluetooth fix and secondly with the old raiju we have indications that razer's products dont actually have a defective hardware but a software problem. Do u think the chances of the sticks being a hardware malfunction are high when it happened with the old raiju but the it got solved completely within some updates? Im a programmer, other guys here might also be, the code doesnt exist many times, u just have to create a library first and then actually write the code for the function of the controller. Many times the code needs updates. The sticks arent a living breathing thing that actually does something, honestly they do absolutely nothing, there's a sensor if i could say it like that cuz my english isnt perfect and then there's code trying to translate those movements. And this is a controller, software mistakes have been done in all kind of ridiculous situations. I will give u an example we learned at uni, due to some geographic miscalculations or rather something they didnt think of, when some models of the F16 crossed half the globe they went upside down on their own. If u google it u can find it. And imagine that we're talking about an aircraft, not a controller. Many times the code isnt perfect. Still i cant be sure that what ur saying isnt true, it could very well be but i dont think the chances of that are high, not that it cant be true or the raiju Ultimate and Tournament an exception among Razer products and it has both firmware and hardware issues, i could very well be wrong but i would like to think this is actually a software issue. But on a last note. Whichever the case may be, why dont we RMA it since people are saying there is a new batch out now that is working perfectly?
unbelievable...
The new firmware is not meant to be released for update...
Support team is suggesting me to contact my reseller....
I'm done with Razer....NOT a serious company.

They said that to me too but if the reseller doesnt want to RMA it then they will, why dont u try it out?
proof of the v1.04 existing because mods think that it doesnt. many many thanks to 7nightwing7 that took the time to take a photo of his pc screen to make proof about this.
i talked with razer live chat support again and the v1.04 is a manufacturing version and for some reason they wont give it to them for the old units out on the market. This makes me think that the new ones might have some hardware change? Or there was a mistake in the software and for some reason they cant be updated properly? In any case and whatever the real answer is, they told me to get a replacement, which im in the process of doing anyways. Also they told me that the v1.03 which is out supposedly is on par with the v1.04 for the new batch of controllers. I told them that v1.03 solved nothing for people while v1.04 and people who had it say the controller is working perfectly right now but the agent told me he/she couldnt do anything because they wont share the firmware with them and thats what they are being told anyways. So i guess now we have our answer. We just RMA it till we get a good batch.
But how to RMA here?
