Razer Seiren audio out | Razer Insider

Razer Seiren audio out

I have a Razer Seiren that I've had for 2 years now, the audio that I put out (when I speak to people) fades in and out. The mic was working fine all day but seemingly started to do this when I plugged my xbox controller into my pc.

I tried plugging into different ports, removed the controller, updated in device manager. None of these proves successful. Not sure what to do now as the mic isn't very functional with this going on. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Update, I left the mic unplugged for about 5 minutes and gave it some power. The HUD ( little display on the front) flashed for a bit and is now dark. Adjusting the knobs on the body shows nothing as opposed to me regularly being able to see what I was adjusting.

Seems like there might be an issue with power delivery to your Seiren. Your voice fading in and out might be the mic not getting consistent power?
The display flashing is the main reason why I'm guessing it's something to do with power.

Have you tried reaching out to Razer Support?

You could also try plugging your Seiren into a different computer. Or, try having your Seiren as the only device plugged into your computer. This way only the Seiren is drawing power from your computer.

I haven't tried reaching out to razer just yet, I'm still trying to narrow it down. I think it may not be the mic, as I tried my mic attached to my headset and got the same results. I'll unplug everything and see how that goes.

I should note that the HUD eventually came on and is functioning properly Having just the mic plugged in didn't make a difference.
