Razer Synapse, Making A Key Toggle On And Off?

So my pinky hurts from holding down the crouch button alot in Minecraft (the game lists my total crouch time in actual days).

I can't seem to figure out Razer Synapse (Either V2 or V3, though I don't think 3 supports my Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 edition).

I see this topic, and several youtube videos but they don't work for me.

Using synapse V2 I make a macro and use the "toggle continuous playback on/off using assigned key" and assign it to Shift, thinking I can toggle it on and off. Doesn't work, it turns ON but pressing it again doesn't turn it OFF. I have to quit the entire game to uncrouch until I hit the key again. I set it to Q because people say shift can is tricky about that. Again it doesn't work. I try making a hold shift ON macro button and put it on F6, and then a macro to turn it off and assign it to F7 as some youtube videos showed. Won't let me make the shift release macro.

In Razer V3 it seems to let me make the two separate on/off macros, but I don't see a way to assign it to my keyboard, assuming there even is a way, even as a "3rd party" keyboard.

I really don't understand why I cant just select the key on the picture of my keyboard for my Mincraft loadout and set it to "toggle key hold on/off with press", no macro writing. Seems like a no brainer to have that feature, considering how many PC games have you hold buttons to crouch/run and let go to uncrouch/stop running etc.

Im thinking I just don't understand how to program the macro before setting the "toggle continuous playback on/off using assigned key", at the moment it's set to "Shift Key Down". I suspect Synapse is blocking my PC from seeing the shift key as being released when I hit it again to detoggle it, even though shift IS up. Is there something in the Macro I need to add to force it to broadcast a "shift key up" signal after the macro is ended? Is there a "cancel all macros" button I can assign to at least kill it without leaving the game?

Thank you for your assistance!

Hi there! Can you share a screenshot of the macro that you are trying to use?
I've deleted all the macros, but they were mostly variations of this set to either shift or another key on "toggle continuous playback on/off"

This macro does not work at all, I assume because its looping instantly on shift up/down. Ive tried it with JUST "shift down" set to Q but once I've pressed it, the key shift key stays locked and will absolutely not unlock until Ive completely restarted my computer. I used to be able to quit Minecraft and it would disengage since it was linked to minecraft.exe to launch this loadout, but a recent patch is making the shift lock persist even after exiting the game, I cant even go into synapse and turn it off because shift is preventing menus from being operated correctly.
