razer turret xbox key function?

What exactly does the xbox key do? when i have synapse closed the key simply opens the xbox game bar on my pc but if i press the key while syanpse is open or in background it seems to do something else. When im at desktop and i press it im prompted with shutdown and restarting the pc but if i press it when im playing a game it can either close out the game or kick me to character select. in chrome it opens a window with a list of different key commands. Synapse doesnt even let you change what the key does.
