Hi,
I purchased a razor laptop two weeks ago. Suddenly the screen is now always black.
I can connect to an external display and have change all the power and sleep settings to "never".
I have also re-installed windows entirely.
no luck screen is still black
any advice would be appreciated.
cheers

try go to bios and set the GPU to optimus and see. There is a problem with the latest NVIDIA driver with razor that render the screen black when on the bios it is set to use the dedicated card.
Thanks Kaitid021. ill try that

Do you see anything from the laptop screen when you boot typically on top left where they put the hotkeys for bios and recovery if not maybe you need to get a replacement maybe it is more on a hardware problem.

Thanks Kaitokid021 unfortunately i dont see those items on the top left on boot when i am projecting i think this might be a hardware problem. I'm going to get my money back and go buy a $2500 laptop that works
