Whilst in discord with my friends, they can hear my game sound very clearly even when my mic is muted and usually echos. Has anyone ever had these issues?

Are you using Discord via the website or the app? Try isolating the behavior by enabling the Noise Suppression or the Noise Reduction from the Discord settings. If that doesn't help, do send me the serial number of your device via PM. I'll lock this thread now.
