I'm trying to install windows from the recovery image. I followed all the steps mentioned in the instructions. On bootup, USB drive is detected in BIOS setup but getting "only support running under winpe". And installation is not able to proceed further. Please let me know how to proceed.

Same stuff here. I've downloaded the file multiple times, from different computers on different USB drives. Tried different ports. Tried drives with NTFS (as said in the documentation) and FAT32. Updated BIOS. Still doesn't work.

Same here, not working due to “only support running under WinPE”.

Same issue here with my Razer Blade 16. I followed the official steps on how to create and use a system recovery stick for the Razer Blade. After requesting the recovery image from Razer, they provided a zip file which I extracted onto an NTFS USB drive.

When I try to boot from the drive, the razer system recovery starts, but I’m presented with a window that says “Only support running under WinPE”.

I’m not sure how to proceed from here. I’ve seen suggestions about formatting the USB to FAT32, but the image contains an install.swm file that is over 5GB, making FAT32 incompatible.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated!

… same thing here.

I have a clean, new SSD in my Razer Blade 16 2024. Followed the instructions to download and create a recovery image on my USB stick. First i got the error no 5. Now i get the error "only support running under winpe".

Easy solutions like providing the driver files for the mainboard, or the OEM ISO as a download obviously are to easy…  just joking… i would really appreciate such an easy solution. Never had such problems installing a windows on a Notebook.

If there was a price for the worst support… probably razer iwould be on pool position.

I am writing ping pong emails with razer support… Never encountered a company so completely unhelpful.

Good luck everybody… and in case someone knowns how to easily install such a notebook without errors: Feel free to help :)
