Setting up Kraken tournament edition. | Razer Insider

Got the kraken tournament edition today and when trying to set them up I have hit a wall.

I have installed the synapse software and followed the instructions from both the booklet and online sources but it is not working as it should be.

When setting it up as per instructions when playing something like a youtube video I get an "audio rendering error" and can't hear anything from the headphones.

If I set the playback to just the chat and not slip between chat and game I can get it to work but then can't use the features of synapse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! Try these steps:

  • Right-click the sound icon on the system tray and select “Sounds”

  • On the Playback tab, select “Razer Kraken Tournament Edition – Game” from the list and set it as the “Default Device”.

  • Select “Razer Kraken Tournament Edition – Chat” from the list, and then set it as “Default Communication Device”.

  • In the “Recording” tab, select “Razer Kraken Tournament Edition – Chat” from the list, click “Set Default” and then click “OK”.

  • Game/Chat balance adjustment may be necessary, depending on the current setting. If there is still no sound after setting the “Kraken Tournament Edition – Game” as Default Device, try rotating the Game/Chat balance wheel towards the “Game” side until audio is heard.

Update me how it goes.
