Thunderbolt 4 Dock freezing Razer Naga Pro when Synapse is on...
I recently started using the Razer Thunderbolt 4 dock with my laptop. I'm running Windows 10 on an Alienware laptop with a TB3 port. First two days everything ran great. One morning razer synapse needed an update and since then I have been having issues with my peripherals. Mainly my mouse, a Razer Naga Pro. My mouse will freeze every 20 seconds or so, and will need to be disconnected and reconnected (this problem happens whether I am plugged into the dock directly or using the dongle for wireless). If I turn off Synapse the issue completely resolves itself. Also, the RGB on the dock doesn't seem to work anymore. It will light up when I initially turn on my system but turns off shortly after.
I have;
disconnected everything numerous times
reinstalled razer synapse
tried my mouse and keyboard on different ports on the dock (no issues when plugged directly into the computer)
For now, I will just not use Synapse and my issue is resolved. It just kind of sucks that I can't use some of the main features that Razer offers on their products. I hope the solution will come with an update to Synapse but I was just curious if my issue is unique or if there are others who have had something similar?
