Trojan detection on install of THX Spatial Audio.
Hello,
I recently got as a Christmas gift the Razer Blackshark v2 pro headset. During automatic install of the headset via windows / razer (I plugged the usb dongle for the wireless headset and the razer install started automatically) I installed the THX Spatial Audio app to enjoy to its fullest the headset but windows blocked the .exe flagging it as a trojan.
Here is the diagnostic from windows :
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Detected : Trojan:Win32/Rezzar.C
Status : Removed
A threat or app was removed from this device
Details : This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.
Affected items :
CmdLine: C:\\Windows\\SysWOW64\\explorer.exe C:\\Program Files\\Razer\\RzAppEngine\\rzappengine.exe --url-params=apps=spatial-audio
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scrolling through google it seems that I am not the only one to have this issue, though most threads seems to be on non razer related websites so I am not sure of the validity of the comments there.
My question is ; is it a false positive or should I be legitimately concerned about this ?
Kind regards and happy Christmas / New year everyone.
