My razer blade 16 (2023) updated razer synapse and when it went to restart the computer it freezes on the razer logo. I left it on for several minutes now hoping it will continue booting but the only thing happening is the fan spinning fast and the screen is still showing the razer logo. I hope I don’t have to reset my computer because I did that when it happened earlier (before I knew that synapse was the cause) and have to go through the process of resetting and reinstalling all of my programs. Any advice?

I think you should try a forced restart in troubleshooting mode, look on the internet to find out how to do it.

+1Force shutdown it few times, and at next boot it should ask if you want to tshoot - it’ll allow to boot in safe mode (without most drivers etc) - ofc it’ll work if the NVMe drive is healthy, and the boot partitions are not corrupted.

I appreciate the advice. I wasn’t able to fix the issue by booting in safe mode however I think I found the fix for my problem. After resetting my laptop I updated the bios and firmware from razor’s site then downloaded synapse 4 and it has been fine since
