Hi, I have the mercury white razer blade 512GB and I ordered a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD | MZ-V7E1T0 from eBay. My question is: Will this item work? and will I need a T5 screwdriver to open the device? Here is the tutorial and I can follow it perfectly - however, I am not sure if everything applies for my model. https://theunlockr.com/how-to-upgrade-the-razer-blade-15-ram-ssd/ Thank you

Hi I can answer one part of your question, yes that drive will work as I have the same in my mercury white. I can't answer the question on the screwdrivers as i've had a case of PC /laptops for years and can't tell you what it is. I used Acronis to create a clone of the original disk onto my new 970 Evo. Popped it in, changed the RAM to 32GB (Vengance), rebooted and all worked perfectly.
