I have a blade advanced 15 from 2018 and for the last few months I have been unable to get the webcam to work. I have tested this in various different operating systems, it doesn't show up at all.
I understand I'm likely out of warranty - is it expected that the laptops don't last beyond the two year point? Not sure I've seen a webcam go like this before, and it seems others have faced a similar issue.
Any solutions?
Thanks!

Yes I saw some has the issue, including me. First software wise, check device manager if there’s some warning maybe driver related try update it or go to previous windows build when you recently update it. If you’re unslot it or doing something with internal maybe webcam slot wiring issue, in my case it happened right after I repasted the cpu and gu thermal compound due possibility if drying out (it’s already 2 years gaming usage), so I track back the possibility issue, it was on camera cable slot (the little one beside display near ram slot), i slotted it back (satisfying feel) and the camera is back.
