WiFi Constantly Disconnecting - Razer Blade 15 Base 2070 Max Q | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
I'm constantly getting disconnected from wifi. Even when I am connected, the wifi icon in the taskbar shows 'no internet' before finally disconnecting entirely. Sometimes when the network interruption occurs, I get no notification at all, other than my disconnected video conferences.

Disconnecting from the wireless network and connecting again immediately there after will fix the issue for another 10 to 15 minutes.

This happens on every wifi network I've tried - coffee house, work, home, etc..

Here's what I've tried thus far:

Uninstall and updated the wireless driver

Settings I've tried on the wireless NIC:

-Switched from 5ghz to 2.4ghz band

-Switched from ax to n

Imaged my HDD and did a fresh install of Windows 10, updated the OS and drivers

Purchased and returned a new router for my home wifi.

No luck so far, so I'm hoping that some of the other people I've seen posting on this issue might have some advice.
Reinstalling Windows is even a bit too much for me. PM me the serial of your laptop along with a screenshot of your MSINFO32. I can use those to verify the model of your device and take a closer look at your system to find a way to fix this. For starters, please try to do the steps below:

1. Go to Device Options, usually through Control Panel.

2. Find "Network adapter" and right-click the first thing under it, which should have Wireless something in its name.

3. Uninstall it

4. Right-click "Network adapter" and use the search option to reinstall the wireless you just removed.
