Hi,

I can't install the razer synapse application on win11 because of the error below. Can you help me where I should look for a solution?

I found the solution if uninstall doesn't help:

With Total Commander, you can find and delete all razer folders and files, except for those found in the Windows\System32 folder

After that, the installer will start.

I’d try run cmd as administator, and type sfc /scannow to scan OS files for any corruption (and if so, it’ll automatically repair it).

Also check if you have the newest .net and c++ redist installed (you can also try to repair them). After that, reboot your PC, download fresh installer, run is as administrator.

Did you ever come across a different solution? I’m running into the same exact errors trying to install Synapse - deleting all Razer stuff did not allow the installer to start for me.

Already performed an sfc /scannow (nothing to repair), and updated/repaired .net and c++ to be sure. Still stuck with the same errors and no software to configure my mouse.

Hi,

Install chocolatey.

run in an admin console or terminal or powershell the following

choco install razer-synapse-3

done.

Thanks a lot  @_ochov

I never used chocolatey, but it worked fine to finaly bypass the quite buggy razer installer.

I removed everything from the computer, including auto and manual registry cleanup, and reinstall/repaired windows 11 with no changes before.

cheers.
