iMac 2019 and MAC OS Catalina Synapse does not detect the razer deathadder elite mouse after a system reboot. To detect the mouse, I have to unplug/plug USB after every system reboot.

Do you have the same problem?

this happens to me too, except when i unplug and plug it again, it still doesnt work.
Ive read through this forum, do we just need to be patient until razer has made S2 Compatible?
having the same issue. the razer synapse is not working with macos
i tried to assign the mouse by windows, save it and plug the mouse back to mac
it work as the way i assign the buttom
i guess that's the only way to make it work
Mac Catalina and I can't run the software as the Razer Synapse is stuck at "Approval Required" with only one check mark at the first option Allow Access... and the Allow System software, does not respond and there is not dialog to "allow" in the system preferences. I have rebooted twice.

What do I do now?
I also have the message "please connect a razer enabled device" on my macbook. Will this ever be addressed?
Doesn't work for me and Im running Mojave, how on earth is it not working on an older version of OS X??
yeah this is an issue, I guess I am returning this $80 mouse

Helloooo it’s been 13 months since your dedicated team was supposed to realize an update?
I am a Mac and PC owner. All I want to do is be able to use my Razer BlackWidow V3 on them both. Razer, if you can't handle making your software work on Mac AND PC - just say so. Lying to us saying that it is compatible on both is just PURE laziness. Please attempt to do the bare minimum and actually have the guts to respond to any of these people 1 year+ later.

I have the same Keyboard and have spent the last hour trying to register it for the warranty which doesn't work (i bought directly from Razer) and to customize my keys. What a waste of money, right? Why couldn't it just say that it doesn't work on mac? Super disappointed. I love the haptics on this but the colors cycling through as default is annoying. Why would it say cross compatible if its not? I even tried the GitHub workaround but that has no support for BlackWidow V3 so back to square 1. These peripherals are far too expensive to not work
Same issue!!!
mac os 11.2.3
Same issue here, Big Sur 11.2.3.
I was super excited to have a Razer Naga mouse profile for Mac usage, but I'm very disappointed to see that this will not be happening anytime soon.
Same here. It won't detect the razer keyboard or the viper mouse.

I have a Viper Mini and I've deleted the thing and redownloaded it and it still won't detect my mouse. I'm not sure if the mouse is fake or not.

This is a fix to the problem, maybe not that beautiful of an UI. But you get the full functionality 🙂
I have been an avid Mac gamer for 30 years and a Razer user since... jeez... 2005?

While I love Razer's hardware, software support has been a farce at best. I always try to install it, and it never works... I have bought at least a dozen of their mice, 1/2 a dozen keyboards, and several headsets.

I would say not even worth asking them for software anymore. In fact, Razer, please just take the software down and stop pretending.
Same thing happening here... still there's no solution.... shame...

Its unbelievable that some dude on the net can do it, see the Fruityrazor driver on GitHub, and Razor just does nothing because the 'fanbase' is too small. To bad for those who have a dualboot or would like to use there gear on OSX. Just let them rot, the packaging never sayed that we support OSX.
You could just bring out a basic driver so at least we can use the stuf we payed you for.

Yeah...FruityUI at least let me change the color. It's pretty disappointing to see all the comments here and no support for Mac users. Really glad I only bought this mouse on Ebay and didn't pay full price.

This is another problem. You have a fake mouse. try to registration serial number of mouse on the razer site.

the reason for this is a so-called A bug, also lice, [1] is a bug in computer programs that prevents the program from behaving as intended. It may cause the program to give incorrect results or it may crash. Most often, bugs are accidentally caused by programmers in the source code, but in some cases compilers may translate the source code incorrectly.

this is probably connected to
MAC OS Catalina or Razer Synapse
Big Sur 11.2.3

not sure if the software with the name helps if the problem itself is inside the operating system not in the software itself but the name of the program is at least called razer-macos version v0.4.6

this might be a solution for MAC OS Catalina

If your problem is with the mouse. The first thing you should do is use a wired one. Again, you need to access / Library / Settings and look for the file
"Com.apple.com.apple.AppleMultitouchMouse.plist" and "com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist". Eliminate them. Restart your Mac and you can regain control of the cursor.
Catalina 10.15.7 , Synapse 2, Viper USB - Synapse does not recognize my mouse.
We know windows users are way more than mac users, ok, but i think it's unaceptable that there's no support for your devices in this platform at all. I have some of your products and waiting for some others to arrive, but i loss many of their functionalities you because of that lack of dedicated software. I've written many times in support page and social networks but there's no answer yet...
