Open Media player with a button?

Hello, I have recently got Razer Huntsman Elite and I got a question:

My old keyboard had the option to open apps and control media with the combination of the FN key and a function key, for example, FN + F4 opened Windows Media Player, or FN + F3 opened the calculator. I changed the registries in order to open VLC and my personal playlist with FN + F4 adding a ShellExecute.

Now, with this new keyboard, pressing FN + F4 doesn't work. I have been looking in Synapse, in order to rebind the F4 key in Hypershift, but I'm not able to do so (it is ok if function keys can't be rebind, but it would be great to know if it is possible too). Moreover, I am not able to open VLC and play the playlist automatically with any key. In the direct accesses from Windows I've seen that the Calculator can be binded, but I have no way to do the same with a media player. Tried to do this in the Launch Program tab, but the playlist doesn't play: the way the playlist started is through a shell command, but I can only select the route of VLC, thus opening the program and not the playlist. I can't write the shell command anywhere, in which I specify the route to VLC.exe and the route of the playlist.

Any help with this? Thanks in advance!
Create a bat or ps (powershell) script, that will run VLC with specific running option(s) (I think it can be also a shortcut). Go to Synapse click on the button that you want to re-bind, choose Launch program -> Launch program -> when new window opens to select app, change Applications (*.exe) to All files (*.*), choose your script, shortcut etc.
