Synapse 3 accessing my microphone for no reason

Hey all, For the past few days I have been noticing synapse accessing my microphone for no reason and continuously. Is this behavior normal? because I never used to have my microphone icon appear at the bottom unless I am on a call or in an online game with voice enable. Any inputs are welcome regarding how to disable this as I am worried about my security.

    Do you have Razer headset connected? If yes, it can be possible, since on Synapse you can configure some mic effects (that are controlled by Synapse). If not, just disable mic permission in Windows control panel for Synapse software.

    Nope.. no razer headset connected.. May be i will revoke access like you mentioned.. Thanks mate :)
