Synapse keeps logging me out

Synapse keeps logging me out randomly for the past few months. At first, it was not a big deal. It happened only when I restarted my PC. But lately it keeps happening even when I am doing something...

I am browsing the internet ? Logout.

I am watching movie with friends ? Logout.

I am playing online game, and I am in a middle of shoot-out ? Logout.

You never expect when it happens. It is just tiresome at this point. Anything I try to do, do not work. Repairing did not fix the problem (https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4535). Clean installation of Synapse did not work. At this point, I wonder if uninstalling it is not the best option here. I will wait for a fix to this problem. Thank you in advance for your help and response.

It's still months after that so called "update" and it ​​​​STILL logging me and multiple other people out. I'm never buying razer products again.

Well guess what galaxy brains it still isnt working

I want to print out this forum post and shove in the face of the head of razer software development until they fix it. This is BS.

On top of the software randomly logging you out, it also spitefully desynchronizes your rgb lights whenever it logs you out OR when you uninstall it. Malicious compliance much??

I’m still having this issue and I have updated my app.

Just lost a game because I was logged out mid-match. Not only were my personal keybindings unavailable, but my game was minimized several times without my control. Not very happy.

i have the same problem but honestly just fck razer in general every product I buy breaks within 6 months, wireless mouse keyboard, constantly disconnect/reconnect cant even game anymore with this bullsht. seeing how they still havent fixed the synapse issue after so long really shows how incompetent they are. Ordered my self  steelseries just now and im about to smash anything from razer when it arrives. Another company lost to capitalism, only care about money and investors and the client can go fck himself

I solved my problem by uninstalling my Razer mouse (the only Razer item I have) and installing my daughter’s spare Corsair one. No Razer, no problem any more. And I won’t be buying another one, or anything else of theirs. So that’s one more lost customer.

cynical but is this so this thread doesnt grow - Same issue re install - same problem - come on RAZER! stuffs expensive - it should work!! - incidentally im still on win10 see few other posts same - is this win 10 specific issue?

Yeah I use to love razer for years but since the last year I’ve been getting signed out and I’m tired of resetting my password.

Same, this is last time I am using any Razer device. Their software is trash

Think I have a solution. My razer cortex and synapse was logging me out every 10 minutes and has been doing this for a while now. I think now its because it was out of date or the old update is broken. To work around this go to “apps and features” and select “uninstall” (Dont worry you wont have to uninstall it). Following this it brings up the options for uninstalling it through the razer software and this inclusdes the option to simply update it. Once I logged in after this it seems to be working fine and has not logged me out yet. It logged me in instantly to after I restarted my computer too. I dont know if this is a long term fix but it seems to have worked so far. If you cant use your synapse for more than 10 minutes at a time its worth a shot.

Thank you, this was the fix for me. Synapse on the desktop was saying I was up to date, but after looking at the uninstall wizard I was clearly a couple version out of date.

I see there is no response from razer. I've got the same issue as you guys and i think it's time to say goodbye to razer.

So after all this, Razer still hasn’t given us a fix or even bothered with a reply?? I’ve had a software update I think what was it, 5 days ago? I thought it fixed it.. it has in fact fixed it for a whole 2 days before the problem started reappearing.. What the hell is going on???? 

Mite as well add to the thread. It’s been going on for months now. I keep my PC off till I go to play and it’s 50/50 chance if it loads my preset or not. Before it was flawless. Now it’s basically every time. It’s set to admin. I think it’s ridiculous that there’s 0 feedback from Razer. I’ve considered just getting a Logitech Keyboard and being done with them.

Same Problem, keeps logging me out and I need to end all razer tasks with the task manager to be able to log in again. My device settings are not working without software running (why?). Since I actually use custom key mappings, I just can’t play most games without.

I also have it worsen more recently, I thought it was the Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller's fault because I connected it and it started throwing me out more often and SYNAPSE screams to me that "DC CONNECTION REQUIRED" and I have it connected well and tested. But what annoys me more is the problem of logging out of losing game profiles and modes during gameplay. I never know when he will kick me out!!!

I have the same issue. It was once a month then once a week now it is every day. I have to login again and then restart my computer. It is pretty ridiculous that 1) this isn’t fixed by now. 2) That I can’t even control the colors on my keyboard, mouse and mouse bad because I can’t log in.

If you are going to make me login to use you product. Make the login system work!

I was having the same problem. I managed to fix it by opening Task Manager and Ending all task related to razer. Then I stared them back up and they seem to be working again.

This is the workaround I’ve been using as well, however the issue comes back literally 1-2 hours later and the entire cycle starts anew.
