Synapse keeps logging me out


Synapse keeps logging me out randomly for the past few months. At first, it was not a big deal. It happened only when I restarted my PC. But lately it keeps happening even when I am doing something...

I am browsing the internet ? Logout.

I am watching movie with friends ? Logout.

I am playing online game, and I am in a middle of shoot-out ? Logout.

You never expect when it happens. It is just tiresome at this point. Anything I try to do, do not work. Repairing did not fix the problem (https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4535). Clean installation of Synapse did not work. At this point, I wonder if uninstalling it is not the best option here. I will wait for a fix to this problem. Thank you in advance for your help and response.

Hey. So Razer Synapse constantly logs me out, mid-match, minimizing my game without my control & costing me the game, multiple times now.

Yes, I am on the latest version.

Yes, I have tried reinstalling.

How would you feel if you were in the middle of playing a competitive game, & all of a sudden it gets forcefully minimized in an intense moment, so that you can login to your RAZER account of all things?? Then, you alt+tab back to your game, only for it to minimize it AGAIN to ask me to login back into my account which it KICKED ME OUT OF in the first place.

I'm NOT the only one having this problem. There are THREADS about this.

Please reply, & please tell your uppers this is beyond unacceptable, I'll be in the process of replacing all of my Razer gear with another brand.

I’ve been a die hard Razer fan all my life. I honestly still think Razer makes the best, high-quality peripherals. Until a few days ago, I was still using my old Deathstalker keyboard for well over 8 years. However the time came to upgrade my keyboard and, for the first time in my life, I opted for a keyboard from a different brand, purely because of this software bug that Synapse 3 has.

 

Please, Razer, I implore you to put as much effort into your software development as you do with your hardware R&D. In my opinion, the synapse software has always been your weakest link. I was so happy when Synapse 3 came out as it did fix pretty much every issue I had with Synapse 2, but this log out bug is crippling and incredibly frustrating.

 

I never thought I’d say this, but you have lost a customer in me purely because I just want my peripherals to work without it being crippled by software like Synapse. Until we see a major revamp and fix of how the synapse software work, I can’t see myself buying more Razer products in the future.

Same issue started happening this month, I’ve had the mouse for over two years now suddenly every time I get on the computer greeted with a log in. Some days it will minimize my games multiple times to the point of just closing the software. very annoying.


i was so happy with razer i bought a huntsman keyboard, a basilisk and 2 death adders i gave very good reviews to the synapse software  but… now im going to change those reviews.

 

this is a minor issue but what pisses me off is

1 Why would a configuration software for a peripheral need to be logged always

2 why a gaming brand would minimize after sudden logoff, im a software dev myself and i cant understand why is made that way…

3 why would a post with 1 year old and so many users complaining ha no solution yet???? im starting to think you as brand care zero about your customers.

im not buying anything else from you until you fix this.

Terrible product support. Probably gonna have to just buy an alternative device so I can enjoy using my PC. Lost a customer forever.

It's still months after that so called "update" and it ​​​​STILL logging me and multiple other people out. I'm never buying razer products again.

Well guess what galaxy brains it still isnt working


I want to print out this forum post and shove in the face of the head of razer software development until they fix it. This is BS.

On top of the software randomly logging you out, it also spitefully desynchronizes your rgb lights whenever it logs you out OR when you uninstall it. Malicious compliance much??

software issue, I have the latest update. still logging out every once in a while.

I’m still having this issue and I have updated my app.


Just lost a game because I was logged out mid-match. Not only were my personal keybindings unavailable, but my game was minimized several times without my control. Not very happy.

i have the same problem but honestly just fck razer in general every product I buy breaks within 6 months, wireless mouse keyboard, constantly disconnect/reconnect cant even game anymore with this bullsht. seeing how they still havent fixed the synapse issue after so long really shows how incompetent they are. Ordered my self  steelseries just now and im about to smash anything from razer when it arrives. Another company lost to capitalism, only care about money and investors and the client can go fck himself


I solved my problem by uninstalling my Razer mouse (the only Razer item I have) and installing my daughter’s spare Corsair one. No Razer, no problem any more. And I won’t be buying another one, or anything else of theirs. So that’s one more lost customer.

cynical but is this so this thread doesnt grow - Same issue re install - same problem - come on RAZER! stuffs expensive - it should work!! - incidentally im still on win10 see few other posts same - is this win 10 specific issue?

Yeah I use to love razer for years but since the last year I’ve been getting signed out and I’m tired of resetting my password.

Thank you, this was the fix for me. Synapse on the desktop was saying I was up to date, but after looking at the uninstall wizard I was clearly a couple version out of date.


I see there is no response from razer. I've got the same issue as you guys and i think it's time to say goodbye to razer.

So after all this, Razer still hasn’t given us a fix or even bothered with a reply?? I’ve had a software update I think what was it, 5 days ago? I thought it fixed it.. it has in fact fixed it for a whole 2 days before the problem started reappearing.. What the hell is going on????
