Synapse needed for Viper SE polling?

I recently acquired the new Viper SE and configured my DPI settings and enabled 4k polling using Synapse. Should Synapse be continuously running in order for 4k polling to be operational?

    Nope.

    Once DPI and HZ is set, then it’s saved into onboard memory.
