Can't use my pro activation code on surround.

I am aware that razer has dropped support for surround and is using the new 7.1 on synapse 3, but I personally really dislike how it sounds and I want the calibration and customization available on Surround, however my pro code is being rejected on it yet it's working on 7.1. Is razer stopping people from using their codes on Surround?
