Can we select a static color without a dumb software and an account?

Do we have to
  • create an account AND
  • install synapse AND
  • turn my keyboard over to type the serial to register
so I can finally change the fricking static color? Is there any another way? I am hopeful. there must be another way because even $15 chinese ebay keyboards allow that.

    You don't have to create an account or type in a serial number.

    Account you bypass as guest on synapse but without softwere you will have basic functionality with factory chroma effect.
