Hi,
it's possible to change profiles mapping outside Synapse on macOS by editing the configuration files?
Thanks a lot

As far as I know, this is not possible. Not unless your device has the profile switch button by design. You can, however, give it a shot. Let us know how that goes.

Cool
Does that mean that it is possible with a device that has a profile switch button by design?
Edit:
Wow I got so many errors trying to make that post happen. WTF is up with these forums? :-(
and then of course it just lets me double post like an asshole. :-| sorry
Yes, we have devices like the Naga Trinity and the Basilisk Ultimate that have built-in Profile buttons you can use to cycle saved profiles.
The errors you're getting are caused by a server-side issue, so don't worry about double posting right now.

Would that apply to the quartz Basilisk? I feel like I recall seeing somewhere that it would not, but I'm hoping that I'm misremembering that. o_O
The Basilisk quartz edition does have a profile button so what I previously said is applicable to the variant in question.
Wow, I completely forgot about that profile button! So handy!
I spent the last 5 hours switching between profiles for some training, and then OW between sessions. Remembering about that button would definitely have been useful.

The button is rather easy to forget about because of where it is located, but it is indeed, very handy.
