Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro - Unable to Customize Command Dial After Latest Synapse 3 Update

Do you ask us to install a beta program to have the full functionality? I reading other users this takes time like this, before you take out an expensive accessory you should make sure what works correctly and in a full program. And I already tried Synapse 4 has many flaws starting with the rgb that does not work in silent hill and in others it looks very slow the effects.

No, the new Razer Synapse 4 has a bad reputation and I don’t want to try it. Fix the issue for Razer Synapse 3, or make Razer Synapse 4 “ready to work”.

After reversing back to Synapse 3 a couple of months ago, bycose of many problems with Synapse 4, i gave Synapse 4 another chance. I notest a few bugs that was solved,. Especially for controlling the lighting for my Rapture. But there still to many problems. Sleep and wakeup takes a huge amount of time to load my peripherals in tabs. After startup on one of my systems the RGB lighting from my Backwidow V4 Pro, Basilisk and Raptor shuts off, at the login screen waiting for half a minute. Synapse 4 interferes also with Windows Widgets. Many times it wil not load the weather automatically in the taskbar, after startup of restarting my system. My Command dail on the Blackwidow still not working, after 4 months, and when i shut off Windows it hangs for a short amount of time for closing a element of Synapse 4, this on two system. For the second time i switched back to Synapse 3 and i have none of those problems. Probably i can wait for another year for using Synapse 4 without most of the bugs. 

Yep I have the same problems. I don’t even use sleep mode. When I lock my computer and unlock, the RGB gets all flaky half the time. It may work and it may not. I’ll have to restart the app. Sometimes the rgb settings on my cobra pro will just refuse to work unless it reboot. Pretty frustrating. I noticed when it detects an update my lights bug out as well or things stop working as expected. Maybe it’s time to come out with a synapse 5 and junk synapse 4 lol. They need new designers and coders. 

I want to call out that I stopped reposting this daily because they kept taking down my posts and claiming this would all be fixed soon. 

It’s MONTHS later, still no fix. 

Super expensive keyboard and it’s primary function has never worked. Meanwhile Razer’s shit support team just keeps pulling down posts related to it.
