SUGGESTIONS FOR THE NEW RAZER SYNAPSES [macros] | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

I contacted support and couldn't find a place for suggestions for the new Razer Synapse (I uninstalled it but I know I can do it by pressing "F1" inside the app).

I have been using macros for many years, I understand how it works and I want to make a suggestion.

I believe that the previous model was more practical in some things and worse in others. The app clearly responds better, but the macro is slower. If you want to do the test I did to find out, it's simple:

F1 (0ms)
/LOOP 11x]
A (0ms)
B (0ms)
C (0ms)
D (0ms)
/LOOP 11x]

This loop mechanism was the one I migrated everything to Razer from, simple but efficient for certain functions. This 0ms is a fake number because even with 0 it is obvious that there is still some delay. In the old Razer Synapse 3 this delay was even smaller, but now Razer Synapse Beta makes the delay "0" longer, which is detrimental to some operations that need to be as fast as possible.

Another problem I detected that is actually a suggestion for optimization is that when we rename with the right mouse button, it opens the pop-up in the right corner and not where the mouse itself is located, causing the dialog balloon to automatically disappear when moving down.

(I use this loop in the game Ragnarok Online, because the game itself has a delay of 0.12ms, but it depends on your lag. If you set it to 0.12ms each time you change keys, there will probably be a lag and it won't be activated in the game.)

Another problem regarding the import of profiles/macros: the program can't read the profile coming from Syn3, only the macros within it ixml]. At the same time, the program doesn't have profile options like it used to, which greatly compromises its comfort. In the past, you could start the profile that was connected with the macros and with just one click it would switch to a profile without macros, so you can use your computer normally.

And finally, and no less important, support for discontinued Razer peripherals, such as the Razer Pro Type 1 edition, which was a device with many defects, but Razer Synapse 3 still supports it, even though it's discontinued.

Maybe it's not clear, I'm not used to using forums, but it was the only way to express my suggestions because support couldn't direct me to this same link since I had to uninstall the application because I had all these "problems" above, and sorry for the writing, I'm not fluent in English, I'm using a translator! I hope you solve it, thank you!

An observation that makes me use it is that to trigger another macro, the macro does not need to finish the previous example:
M1: F1F2F3F4
M2: ABCD

If I do M1 and do not finish the M1 cycle in the middle of the way I use M2 it finishes M1 but gives priority to M2, this seems silly but it is like an anti-ghosting system. I hope this never stops working because any other macro I have tested does not do this mechanism! Just an observation!

I bought a Huntsman v3 Pro and what I said about the macros, in fact it is much faster, I need to put less repetitions, please disregard the loop issue, it is wonderful!
