Synapase 3.8.10.31.110912 : impossible to export profile | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hello,

Synapse is making me crazy. Tried to use account to synchronize my profiles between 2 PCs and 2 mice. But I got lot of issues (loosing profiles, new default profiles created, etc...). So I gave up and return to an invite account on synapse and use import/export functionnality.

But at the moment the import/export feature does not work anymore !!!! When I click on the button nothing happen !!!

Synapse is broken ?

I had several issues with the prior to the latest update, but can confirm current stable version Profile export isnt working.

9 months later, using the latest version, export STILL does not work. This sucks because I’m trying to just use 2 different accounts for each computer because the cloud sync SUCKS.

Honestly when is Razer just going to fire the entire software team? I’ve been developing software for almost 20 years and I can honestly say you guys are FREAKING HORRIBLE. This has to be some of the worst peripheral software I have ever used. The mouse itself is great but for the love of GOD please snipe some of the actually competent people from Logitech and just can everyone on the dev team because your software and your support is utter trash.

I used to be a faithful Logitech mouse user. When I wanted to replace my G700 with a G604, it was a disaster! The scroll wheel was just horrible. Logitech just trashed their G6xx series. Disappointed, I decided to look at the competition, and despite its stratosferic price, I set my sights on a Razer Naga pro. An absolutely brilliant mouse in terms of ergonomics, buttons... But when I installed the Razer Synapse software, oh boy! I missed the Logitech one 😞 . Lousy ergonomics, synchronization bugs, export/import problems, profile switching bugs, sometimes I had to switch manually, or even restart Synapse, I couldn't see the battery level in the tray, I had to open Synapse, etc. ...
There's a new version of synapse in beta that I've installed and that seems a bit better. But it seems that Razer doesn't listen to its customers, and a simple basic feature requested by a lot of people is still not implemented: the battery level in the systray.
