Synapse keeps resetting to spectrum cycling

I had this kind of thing with 3. It was set to wave mode, but as soon as I went to version 3 my keyboard and mouse went mad. Tried to set options back, but nothing would work. Mouse would become a flashing rainbow and the keyboard would stay yellow. Went back to Synapse 2 and all fixed. I've got a Black widow keyboard and Black mamba mouse (both chroma).

Replied to another thread about a similar topic, Synapse 3 is still pretty new and I've had a myriad of issues with it, but reinstalling it altogether seemed to fix them, along with keeping it up to date.

Try few things. First remove all profiles for devices that you use and if you synapse 3 also on studio module and create new one see if issue appear. If still you have try to repair softwere from windows install/uninstall panel.

Windows 10 annoyingly keeps telling me to update to 3. I'm quite happy with 2. I just want the keyboard and mouse to say in sync, I don't use any of the fancy features. I do play Overwatch every now and then, and that turns the lights off that are not needed for the game.

Running Synapse on a 2019 Razer Blade Stealth and have this same problem. Just started recently. When my computer wakes up from sleep, Synapse creates a new "default" profile with spectrum cycling and changes to Function keys. Super annoying. After waking up from sleep a few times, it has created multiple new "default" profiles that I have to keep deleting and changing to my preferred profile. PLEASE FIX.

I'm hoping for an offline mode for this. Is it ok to uninstall synapse version 3 and download version 2? (on RB15 2019)

Tell me how to fix this. I reinstalled windows (using 1903 with last update). I only have synapse installed without any modules. Also synapse after last update crash on startup. I have the same issue - Razer support have been bumping me around for 2 weeks. This is the first Razer laptop I have owned (Razer blade stealth 13). I had no idea it depended upon their software to control the keyboard. Never again.

My escalated support ticket has been with Razer's tier 2 for a number of weeks. Their practical suggestion was to run sfc (system file scan), reinstall the MSVC++ runtime and repair the .net framework installations. Basic level suggestions. There was no offer of support for Synapse 3 other than troubleshoot/repair the OS environment. For tier 2 support this is somewhat unimpressive. Regardless. I returned the Razer Blade Stealth. This decision driven solely by my experience with Synapse 3 and Razer's support. The laptop, the hardware was excellent, sadly undermined by the Razer software.

I have this same issue. I have a keyboard and mouse that work with synapse 2 and keep the color settings on windows lock screen and startup and shutdown. But then when i got my nari headset I had to load version 3 which then took control of the keyboard. So now i have a keyboard and head set that spectrum cycle on lock screen and startup/shutdown and a mouse that stays red like i configured it. Is there an update to when an update will be out to fix this???

Same here with Cynosa & Deathadder Elite. After I unlock my PC after some time, it either changes the lighting profile or it loses the saved profile completely. I mean it shows there are no profiles, which is also why it falls back to default. It might happen if I lock and unlock my desktop right now, or it might not even happen during 24h. Appears to be random. Observed on 2 different PC's. Talked to support regarding this back in March 2019 (case 02508774), it's been broken since.

Since the manufacturer doesn't seem to care about a bug that directly renders the product inusable then here's my workaround. Make a .bat file with the following content and run it as admin every time the profile disappears: taskkill /IM "Razer Synapse 3.exe" /F taskkill /IM "Razer Synapse Service Process.exe" /F taskkill /IM "Razer Synapse Service.exe" /F taskkill /IM "RazerCentralService.exe" /F start /min "" "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Razer\\Synapse3\\WPFUI\\Framework\\Razer Synapse 3 Host\\Razer Synapse 3.exe" Can also be scheduled to run upon each login. Retarded, but better than setting everything manually. Although, as much as I love both products, I will sell all my Razer stuff soon if this doesn't get fixed.

I was in a chat today and got some "awesome" customer support. As you can see I was being sarcastic. He didn't even say goodbye.

Same here with Synapse 3. Deathadder and Ornata don't keep the settings and always turn back to spectrum cycling when turning the PC on, off or standby. Synapse 2 though works fine.
