...

Every single time—every single day—it’s the same thing: “Thank you for providing the details. To proceed, please share the additional information below.”

[..}

See my answer above, it’s all systematic (ITIL).

Does this really seem systematic to you??? This kind of repetition is not how ITIL is supposed to work

Yep, it’s annoying, tedious and not really how ITIL is supposed to work. Some companies pervert these processes to the point of exhaustion, leaving behind annoyed and frustrated customers.

I found a fix that works for now BUT it requires modifying the registry… proceed at your own risk

  1. Open regedit as administrator and navigate to the following location: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
  2. there should be an entry for “RazerAppEngine” with a string like "C:\Program Files\Razer\RazerAppEngine\RazerAppEngine.exe" --url-params=apps=synapse --launch-force-hidden=synapse --autoStart=1 ]
  3. Create a NEW string in this location call it RazerFix
  4. Enter the string "C:\Program Files\Razer\RazerAppEngine\RazerAppEngine.exe" --url-params=apps=synapse --launch-force-hidden=synapse ] (no brackets[])
  5. Open Synapse go to settings and turn OFF run at startup completely, the new string will do it for you
  6. restart and see if it worked

If this doesn’t work for you you can just delete the key you created and no harm will be done.

I don’t really know why this works but I suspect the “--autoStart=1” stops synapse from loading properly.

I hope this helps!

Back again… I reverted my change and it looks like there was some sort of “hotfix” and it now works without the custom registry entry.  I think all the noise made something happen!

razer is not send update. this number is same

I took a screenshot of the same issue as before. However, strangely, I used the regedit script the above friend gave me and it worked perfectly.

Then I checked again, and there were two sides: the original and the Razerfix one.

When I looked later, the original one was gone. So, as a test, I deleted the fix one and left it blank. I restarted the PC, and voila.

It fixed itself. Now I look at regedit, and the original code is still there, and it detects the devices every time I boot. Very strange.

Synapse 3 unfortunately is total cancer the way it ENFORCES audio choices.

All seems to be working fine for me after I removed the fix today .
