Same here, switching from Windows to Linux.  I need to be able to use my Razer Naga on Linux!

Came here to ask the same, we really need some Linux love for Razer products. Made the move from Win10 and really done want to go back. But really need to use my Razer products on Linux.

I’m here simply to advocate for Linux support. I have 3 Razer devices, headphones, keyboard and mouse and they struggle to work with Linux. Us Linux users should not have to settle for third part software like OpenRazer. While I respect their work it should not be on them to have to make these tools. We paid money for our devices, we expect support on Linux.

YES PLEASE!!! I just bought a Huntsman V3 Pro TKL and I love it everything works great in Windows. I much prefer to use Linux though, and as of right now everything works great including RGB using Open Razer, however there is no way to use the Analogue switches as far as I can tell. I can switch to the built in profiles, but they don't appear to actually change anything. If Razer could please release Synapse officially on Linux that would be amazing and make me even more likely to buy future products.

I logged in just to vote for this. My irritation with Windows is reaching the breaking point and I really want to get rid of this OS but there are still compatibility issues with many programs

Hi, +1 ! I will definitely switch to Linux if they make it :)

Please Razer, i’m begging you

As much I was really want Razer to provide official support for Linux, I just don’t think they will care until we vote with our wallets. That is in no way a suggestion for anyone to throw out their Razer devices in revolt. I have seven Razer devices sitting on my desk  right now and I am generally very happy with all of them. I started a transition a couple years back and have continued to buy more and more.

Now I find myself at a crossroads where, like many, I have aggressively decided to ditch Windows for good and have switched to Linux for my daily use and game play. If the game doesn’t work on Linux, I’ll just pass. But I am not about to get rid of the Razer devices that I have grown fond of.

However… Rest assured when the time comes to replace an item or start a fresh transition to a new keyboard / mouse combination, I will not consider any products that don’t provide Linux support. Money talks and I have to spend mine on companies I believe will be more aligned with the OS platform I am moving forward with.

So talk with your wallets when you can and maybe… just maybe Razer will get the hint. Otherwise all our prayers will fall on deaf ears. At least… That’s what I believe.

I would love the linux port already , i want to switch fully to linux for work and gaming but i am being limited by some software like synapse , i really love my razer hardware and the connivence of one software to manage everything but i need it to migrate

I’d like to add my voice in support of official Linux support for Razer products.

A lot of people are moving away from Windows and looking for a faster, cleaner, more user-controlled OS. I’ve switched to Linux and I’m genuinely happy with the decision—I'm using CachyOS right now.

Razer is one of the most respected gaming peripheral companies, and I hope it can lead the way by offering full Linux support with feature parity: drivers, configuration tools, lighting/macros, and firmware updates.

I haven't migrated to Linux yet because I don't have Razer Synapse support. I use a lot of mouse and keyboard macros, and I'll miss that a lot on Linux.

I believe it's time to pay attention to Linux.

I also switched to Linux as I have regular full crash on my Win11 installation while gaming. I tried so many things to stabilize but nothing fixed it completely. Synapse 4 as well does not work properly on Win11. There I rolled back to Synapse 3 to at least have a all my macros and all devices working.

To have Linux driver an Synapse support from Razer would be much appreciated. By the way many of my gamer colleagues are switching to Linux at the moment as Win11 is a nightmare. I’m a big fan of Razer products, especially the Tartarus Pro and the ability to have same color theme on all 3 devices for same  or similar game functions is great.

How do people like synapse 4? Synapse 4 is utter trash. Tried that garbage for 5 minutes and went straight back to synapse 3, if *ANYTHING* bring synapse 3 to linux and completely trash S4.

Or be a big boy and learn how to use macros on linux? Autohotkey works wonderfully, outside of only working on X11.

Also @Yami-Samurai ‘Razer is one of the most respected gaming peripheral companies’ no they’re not, razer is extremely user hostile. Their hardware is most of the time subpar, their support sucks, and their (newest) software is a complete nightmare.

Autohotkey only works if the buttons on your device trigger an event on the machine. Not all buttons on my Basilisk V3 X Hyperspeed do. e.g. the Multi-function Trigger next to the forward/back buttons doesn’t, and I don’t think the DPI button does either.

On Windows I had these set up in Synapse as 1) modifier to switch the scroll from vertical to horizontal and 2) workspace quick switch. I can’t do this on Linux.

I’m considering switching to a more Linux friendly mouse, which is a shame as I really like this one.

I use linux for work and home and I’m still using the Razer 2 support from openrazer with a BlackWidow V3, but I would like more of the features that should be available like key mappings and better control over lighting effects. Please support your users Razer, it seems you have a growing Linux base.

Razer is great, but I’ve switched to Linux now, and if I can’t use my Razer devices, I’ll have to go with a different brand in the future. Please give us Linux Support!
