Synapse 4 slow and laggy, Kraken 4 Pro not working due to this

Since installing Synapse 4 all I’ve had is issues with the program playing catch up with itself and running slowly, my Razer Kraken V4 Pro sounding tinny (tried 2 headsets and the same issue happens). I think something is not right with Synapse 4, removed and still an issue.

I agree ​@Brutalbipedal. Synapse 4 is amazingly slow. I’ve tested on a few systems with little difference (Win 10 and Win 11, 16GB to 128GB RAM, integrated and discrete GPU(s), Core Ultra 5 through 9). Synapse 3, which I wouldn’t have considered fast before, is blazing fast compared to 4. Huntsman and Basilisk combo usually lose their lighting effects when unlocking the device. I have to relaunch Synapse 4 and wait a loooong time for it to detect both. Not uncommon for it to only detect one or the other, requiring a force kill and restart. Painful...

Because some genius decided to develop synapse using some web-based technology, wrapping chromium within it, making it very resource-intensive, and very ram-hungry. Couple that with bad development quality, and you get a very slow product.

Come on Razer! I love your products, but please make your software as good. Hire some good devs to make a good interface to manage your products. As it stands now, it’s unsatisfactory. Cheers 🍻
