Naga V2 Hyperspeed support in Synapse Preview

The title really says it all - i'm so happy that Synapse Preview finally launched for Mac, but my Naga V2 Hyperspeed isn't supported.

Given that the Naga V2 Pro is supported, but not the Naga V2 Hyperspeed, I’m really hoping the team would be open to adding support for it. Is posting here the best way to pass this request on to the team??

Specifically for me, it's one of the best options for video editing software like davinci resolve. Would be great for the large Mac creative community to be able to utilize it for these use-cases, as the pickings are relatively slim, and the work arounds are tedious.

Thanks in advance!!

For all my Naga V2 HS homies on Mac, I downloaded Steermouse and it does exactly what I need it to do. It was 20 bucks but so so worth it. Maybe one day Razer will support it’s own products, but why wait?

+1 to this. I also have the Naga V2 Hyperspeed and was really surprised to see it's not supported in Synapse for Mac, especially since the V2 Pro is.

I use it daily for absolutely everything, making full use of all the buttons on Windows, and having full support on macOS would make a huge difference.

Really hope the Razer team considers adding support soon.

Thank you in advance!

Do you use dongle or BT? Because I use it as bluethoot and it only detects 3 side buttons (10,11,12) but basically no other buttons except of basic left, right and middle mouse button. I found update description on their side (5.7.2) that says “Now supports Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed. (USB connection only, not Bluetooth.)” and no other mention of this mouse ever since.

I use the dongle - the Steermouse app specifically mentions only working with the dongle for full functionality. I’m able to use all my side buttons, and have different profiles saved for different applications, which it automatically adjusts for most of the time. Rn I have it set up for davinci resolve, adobe Lightroom, and baldur’s gate 3 and it switches between them perfectly. I think it’s lame that Razer couldn’t do something as fundamental as support all devices currently being sold, but am very happy with this solution
