Razer Synapse for Mac

Hi, I just installed the Synapse beta however, I noticed 1 bug.

First one is during setup, I forgot to give 1 specific permission (I forgot which one), but this lead me to be unable to login. I had to continue as guest, and then assign all permissions using the dashboard, only then I could login.

I installed this on my Mac Mini 15.3.2 I can’t get Synapse to see my mouse.

The issue seems to be Mac permissions though. Even though I’ve gone through installing and uninstalling and verifying that correct permissions are set, it doesn’t work.

I’m pretty sure that I’m doing the perms correctly. Any way to troubleshoot this?

Basilisk V3 is currently not on the supported device list. You may check the current supported device list through https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/14809 . 

And that’s why the Synapse says it doesn’t have permissions to seek devices?

I just bought a Razer Pro Click V2 | RZ01-0390，PLZ add it to the supported device list ASAP.

Installed this on a MacBook Pro using M3 Pro chip running macOS Sequoia 15.4.1.

Connected my Razer Kiyo webcam to my MacBook.

Razer Synapse does not find the webcam. In the dashboard ist statest “NO DEVICE FOUND” and instead offers viewing compatible devices.

Outside of Razer Synapse I can still use the Kiyo webcam. For example in macOS’s Photo Booth software it works. But not in the dedicated Razer software.

It would be amazing if Synapse found the webcam so I could adapt colors etc.

Dear Razer Support Team,

I noticed that you've recently released the Razer Synapse Preview for macOS, which is a great step forward — thank you for bringing native support to Mac users.

However, I’ve found that the current version offers very limited device compatibility. I’m a long-time Razer user and would love to use my DeathAdder V2 and V2 Pro mice with Synapse on macOS.

Would it be possible to provide access — even as part of a beta program — to a version of Synapse that includes support for these devices? I'd be more than happy to offer feedback or participate in testing if needed.

Great to see Razer coming to Mac. When can we expect support for a wider range of mice ? I have a Razer DeathAdder V2 X Hyperspeed and it’s not currently supported. 

they probably just want us to buy the newest ones. Its not that hard to implement the rest of them, I am a dev and I can tell you lol.

Have removed Synapse from starting at Login, as this iteration provides no value to me

First off, happy to see support coming to macOS. Hopefully linux as well?

Would like to point out some current issues, hopefully they can be addressed soon.

1. There currently isn’t a way to close the synapse app and have it remove the Synapse icon in the Dock. Please allow for closing to menu bar icon only.
2. When waking from sleep, you cannot view the settings of a device anymore. You have to completely close Synapse and re-open; most people probably won’t be checking/changing settings often anyways so not a terrible issue at the moment. It still applies the correct settings seemingly.
3. Not sure if it auto-updates, or how to check for software updates. The about popup just shows the version; doesn’t appear to check for an update. Same under Settings > General.

I have Blackshark V2 Pro and Deathadder V2 Pro. For both, I can not see them in devices section. 

The Synapse won’t instal on Catalina?? 
& how come synapse will not recognize my kaira Hyperspeed dongle? My dongle is making my Xbox series x malfunction so I’m trying to like factory reset the dongle or something like that if you understand what I’m talking about. Reset the firmware or something. When the dongle is connected and paired to the headset it makes my series x unable to live stream on twitch or anything it’s become exhausting 

working on sequoia 15.5 but surely can add more compatible items? the software seems fine but can we get updates on when hunstman mini will be added? so we can actually test our products

Will you please add Razer Viper Ultimate? I have been waiting for the Mac software for so long and found out it is not compatible…...this is so disappointing….

When will the Blackshark V2 Pro (2023) be supported on MAC
