The New Razer Blade 15 is a Beast! Love It!

I see one thing that is confusing me, how the base model have "Ethernet port" and the advanced model didn't get "Ethernet port" in my oppinion this is crucial to have for best internet connection!

It come with AX - wifi 6, shouldn't be a problem , I installed the wifi chip at my 2017 Razer Blade 14, it hits 2.1gb/sec.
Ordered 15"Adv. model w/ the 2070 yesterday morning. Will be my first Razer computer, very excited, but isn't shipping until END OF MAY??
Dear Guys,

Can you advise how long the battery lasts in power saver mode and high performance mode for razer 15 advanced model 2020 with gtx 2080 super?
Basically i want to run the new FS2020 for gaming in hgh performance and also serve as an ultrabook in power saver mode for my office.

Do you guy think will there be an i9 version in the future?
any chance that the 2020 advanced model will have 2 M2 slots?

Negative, the advanced model has an 80wh battery which eliminates the extra M.2 slot. Only the base model with the 65wh battery has the extra empty M.2 slot.
even though im not a hard core gamer, I love these products. having a laptop with extra power and the latest hardware helps future proof it!
The moment they make one of these with a 10 key pad, I'll start considering them again—Add a blu-ray drive and I'll buy it instantly.

Not on this still same since last 4 years 14nm cometlake chip, if there’s it’s wasting the money on this thin light categories, the performance would be throttled or throttled due heat.

Wouldn't it be futuristic if we could get them all packed into one spiffy device?
I sure don't want to lug two more things in my backpack.

It's getting harder to find desktop cases that even have the option for an optical drive. Sure they're not for everyone, but I require them.
On the Base model of the Blade 15, do you think it's possible to put a heatsinked NVME ?

Unfortunately gaming laptops nowadays need better cooling, adding those means additional heat, thanks to intel and nvidia that still keep big 14nm and 12nm Chips on more powerful chip, AMD btw is already doing 7nm both cpu and gpu. Adding those internal numpad and physical drive means also have to make bigger cooling room that means bigger unit that against blade laptops categories which’s on thin light one. That maybe depends on user cases, personally I prefer as pheriperal since I don’t always use it on the go, I use indeed external mechanical numpad for my excel work and dvd driver (kind of not same brand since I got from amazon de) for media consumption or installing things that still need physical cd/dvd.

Depends of the thickness, but I’d recommend buying something without it and use thermal tape that costs like under €10 six pack, it reduce max temperature like 30 to even 40 degrees compared without, in fact some blade 15 model actually come with it not quite sure with current one, though I didn’t see on notebookcheck review unit base blade 15 mercury Oled rtx 2070maxq 144Hz, what a long naming;)

I read somewhere here that someone got a very flat heatsink, something like this (I'm not recommending this, just showing as an example)
Hey guys,

Anyone know exactly how the battery in the Blade lineup does when plugged in and powered on 24/7? Will it constantly drain battery while recharging it or is there any way in BIOS or software to set it in a "passthrough" type mode so power from the AC charger doesn't hit the battery? I'm worried that if I get one, there's a chance keeping it on 24/7 as a desktop replacement will wear the battery.

I've been thinking about getting the 15" to replace my current desktop (ryzen, 2070) + laptop (samsung notebook 9) combo.

I can search the pink quartz one in the search bar and it says it is available right before clicking buy now. after I click buy now. there is no configuration for the razer blade 15 in quartz pink with the specs I need. it is way better than the stealth 13. it can handle streaming and gaming way better than the 13 inch laptop. wondering if anyone has any answers.
this is too beefy!
no, it is a computer. I kindof would like to purchase one.

You can get the "base" model with an OLED screen, however it is an upgraded base model and costs more than the lowest end model (comes with upgraded GPU and SSD).
