Hi guys, I recently purchased a Blade 15 Advanced Edition and had some questions about it as it seems software updates and drivers are done differently from other laptops. 1. Current W10 version is 1909, can I update the stock install to 20H2 without issues? 2. If a reinstall happens, is any functionality lost over the stock W10 install? 3. Am I right in thinking the drivers are handled by the windows update and not obtained through Razer site or Razer Synapse? If anyone has installed their own fresh copy of the latest Windows 10 I'd be interested to hear your experience. I am upgrading to a 8TB SSD so looking to install a fresh copy of W10Pro

Hi All i just purchased a razer 17 pro and would like to get rid of plugging in the USB dongle for the blackshark, mouse, gamepad, and ethernet cable and would like to consolidate them all into a USBC hub/ docking station. The Razer Chroma Laptop Stand is almost a option, however lacks the ethernet port and the price is high. Thus any recommendations on a USB hub / laptop stand that I can use or a good hub?

Je regarde et je vois que synapse détecte plus mon Nari Ultimate. Mais mon ordinateur le détecte très bien... Je comprends absolument pas pourquoi. Le casque marche et j'entends les son ect.. Mais il se déconnecte et reconnecte sans arrêt du coup ça coupe le son et ça le remet. Je comprends pas, s'il vous plaît si vous savez pourquoi aidé moi. Merci à vous.

Hi, I need replacement screws for the buttom cover of my Blade 17 Pro 2020. Opened them twice, once for SSD upgrade, once for DDR4 RAM exchange. The second time some of the screws were ruined... The Torx tool didn't grip any longer, the (starshaped) drive in the head were quickly ground out, like made of wax... :mad_: They can't be screwed back in. That's some soft and cheap screws they use on a € 4.000,- machine... disapointing. I recieved my Blade 17 pro yesterday, so it's brand new, guess how happy I am. So i have a razer blade stealth 13, 1650, each time i try to turn it on after its shut down, I need to hold the power on button, until the led blinks once white, and then I have to press it again shortly so it turns on normally. If i just press it once lightly it wont turn on, sometimes the keyboard leds light up, but then dim again after some time. Whats the reason this might be happening? Is this a hardware issue? I have recently updated and reinstalled it, made no difference, also tried uninstalling battery drivers.

Hello everyone, A friend told me to try posting this question here for help upgrading my 15 yr old son's gaming pc. Please forgive my lack of knowledge... I am a total newb to all things gaming LOL I've included screenshots of the specs on his current pc. He plays Apex Legends mostly, as well as GTA and Sniper Elite 4 & he wants to live stream with his own Twitch channel... but the current setup is too slow and the graphics aren't working well. I am thinking we either need a new graphics card or processor... or perhaps both. I have no idea what would be required to make upgrades work with his pc. I'm not too familiar with M.2 drives so I don't know if there are different types or if they should all work? Hi all, Received a Blade Pro 17 today. Wonderful bit of kit, feels well built. My one niggle is that, whilst its sitting idle doing nothing, and I mean task manager is showing nothing is taxing the system, I'm getting fairly frequent spin up of the fans to a moderate level. It will definitely kick in whilst in casual use, such as internet browsing (non-video) and so on, which is surprising. I've currently got the profile set to default and I've tried a more silent profile, but nothing really changes. I'm hoping to use this laptop for play at home and for design work, when I'm able to return to the office, so being able to run it more silently in work mode would be really handy. Appreciate any feedback or advice people can give. I do understand this is a gaming spec laptop and should expect the jets to kick in whilst gaming, but it seems a little excessive to me when doing nothing or relatively simple tasks on the system. Hi all, I have the Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 docking station and I have some issues with that. When I use my working laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad) everything works smooth and I have 2+1 screens (2 external monitor connected to the display ports on the dock and the laptop screen) working in extended configuration. When I connect the Razer Blade 15 to the dock instead, I have that the nvidia software shows me only 2 screens (the 2 external monitors), I'm able to have an extended configuration for the external monitors, but the screen laptop always mirrors one of the other 2. When I try to do detect on the Nvidia software, what I see that one external monitor is detected as number 3 instead the other monitor and laptop are marked both with 1|2. Does anyone have any idea how to allow the software to detect the laptop monitor ?

It was bothering me that Intel driver update wizard kept nagging me on each reboot for Intel UHD graphics driver update, but when running - it would install and then uninstall and driver version remained stuck on 26.20.100.7261. Rebooting would then result in another nag. It bothered me even more when recently I found this article suggesting a vunerability for versions less than 26.20.100.7584 - which clearly the OEM drivers were. https://support.razer.com/articles/1688819461 https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/security-center/advisory/intel-sa-00315.html My concern initially was that the reason for my inability to upgrade the drivers was because it had already been exploited on my PC. I brought the 2020 Model of the Blade 15 a few days ago with the 1660 Ti graphics and I am trying to get Oculus Link working. My understanding was there were issues on the 2019 model but that they were resolved in the 2020 model? I first tried this cable https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08FY28Z8F/ and although the Oculus software detects it as USB 3 it fails to start the USB test. Things like Oculus Dreamdeck and Rift Home run fine but anything more heavy like Steam "The Lab" results in a lot of tearing and stuttering. I tried both USB-C ports So I got the officially recommended third party cable https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MZIPYPY/ with exactly the same results; I tried all 3 USB-A ports, and tried with the USB-C ports with Apple's USB-C to A adaptor I have submitted a ticket to Oculus, but has anyone actually managed to get Oculus Link working properly? Though I am curious and was wondering if Razer is going to distribute and provide Best Buy with the Razer Book 13 to be able to be sold through their stores and their online and Google and apple store applications. Hi all, I got a razor pro 17. while playing i want the fans to go little faster so i can have it cooler. I want to set this with a keyboard global shortcut. I use hypershit (fn key) global shortcut for disabling the mouse touchpad works great would like to set something like that also.

I wonder if anyone knows why Razer laptops haven't implemented palm rejection? I've been reading about people complaining regarding the palm rejection for years, and my 2020 base Blade has the same problem. It is very difficult to do productivity work or even typing when every 30 seconds I accidentally click something with my palm. Even in gaming, I will accidentally shoot the weapon or perform an action because the trackpad gets triggered randomly by my palm. I have a bunch of Macbook Pros and the Surface Laptop 3 to compare to, which are all excellent at palm rejection. Is this just something we have to deal with or are there any solutions? thanks

Hi i just bought the Razer Blade Pro 17 in 4k 120hz last week. After using for a day, im starting to have vertical lines on the screen.

I'm a little confused about how the front led is supposed to work. It says the light should be solid green when the laptop is on but it the led stays off. It blinks white when the laptop is sleep and appears to blink green when it's moving from hibernate state to sleep. Essentially blinks green right before it blinks white.

Hi guys Just trying to work this out. I have last years Razer 17 pro with a 2070 gpu. I am looking at getting a Core X so i can set everything up on my desk so i just need plug it in. I Will get a 3080 next year, but i am thinking of getting the core x now and a lesser card. Can i still use the gpu in my laptop or will i have to use the gpu that doing in my Core X ? Cheers
