My razer pro 17 laptop (from December 2019) will no longer boot to windows after a recent windows 11  Insider update.No repair options are working, including a windows reset. My only option now looks to be creating a bootable USB pen drive and going from there. Is it ok to create a bootable pen drive from a windows 11 iso file from microsoft, or do I need a specific razer iso?If I can re-install windows once booted from the pen drive, can I then re-install the additional razer software?Any help/advice on how I can re-install windows would be very helpful and much appreciated.Also, how do I recover my windows OEM license key, if needed?Regards,John

I have a Dell i9 with dell dock and the dock can power on the lapotop while the lid is closed and its fully off. Its connected via thunderbolt.Similarly i have a corsair TBT200 with external power button but it will do nothing for my new Razer blade 16. My Blade is nicely tucked under a philips 49” super wide screen. Do i have to pull it out, open the lid to turn it on everytime?I know it can be set for wake from sleep with the keyboard but there no way from off? i think razer missed a trick by not adding a power on button accessible whiel the lid is closed.

I have the Razer Blade 17 2022 RZ09-0423x model, with a 3070ti and 144hz QHD screen. I’m looking to upgrade my storage, and I’ve been trying to find more information on the storage slot specifications. I have already visited this page: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5896 and looked over all the specs there, but it didn’t answer one of my questions: Is the unused drive slot in the razer blade 17 2022 an m.2 2280 or 2230? 

Razer blade 16 - 2023 - RTX 4090Problem Description:NVIDIA GPU remains in P4 state at ~28W even when no processes are running (nvidia-smi confirms 0 active processes). When processes were running, power draw was only 4W, which is the opposite of expected behavior. Trying to enable persistence mode (nvidia-smi -pm 1) or change power limits (nvidia-smi -pl XX) results in "Not supported on this platform" errors. The GPU does not seem to fully power down when idle.Troubleshooting Steps Taken Offloaded all applications to Intel iGPU Used Windows Graphics Settings and NVIDIA Control Panel to ensure all apps (including dwm.exe) run on the Intel GPU. Verified via nvidia-smi that no active processes were using the NVIDIA GPU. Checked GPU Power State After offloading processes, the GPU unexpectedly stayed in P4 at 28W, rather than dropping to P8/P12 (<5W). I want to replace the LCD cable of my Razer Blade 15 base 2019 model. I was able to successfully dismantle the lid assembly and remove the screen. I don't know how the remove the LCD cable that runs through the black hinge cover present between the two hinges. Razer….u provide the finest chassis.U should make sth out of it. Synapse did never work fine.The temperatures are too high.Batterys are bloating. And now u made a Blade 16 with USBC ports connected to the integrated GFX????

Hi guys, do any of you experienced this?, I have a razer blade 14 2022 and synapse 4 installed, the battery limiter not working, when I charge my laptop, it will go to 100 even if I set it to 80%, any idea what causing this?, I thought it was my charger, so I went to a shop and try brand new charger, the issue still there, any solution please?, this starting to get frustrating

I just purchased a Razer Blade 16 (RTX 5080). I’ve enabled the Dedicated GPU mode via BIOS MUX, connected an external monitor via Thunderbolt 4 with a VESA certified DisplayPort 1.4 cable, but the monitor is not being detected. Is there any BIOS or EC firmware update available or upcoming to resolve DisplayPort output recognition from the dGPU? Or is it only me experiencing this?

After locking the computer with Win + L, the Windows key no longer works. I currently have to operate my Blade without the lock screen, otherwise I can no longer use the Windows key. Is this issue already known, or can anyone help me? Thanks.

I am thinking of getting the 4K 16” Blade with the mini-led.  I’ve read that mini-leds are not very good for color critical work or photo editing.  First off you have the blooming effect and secondly the mini-led panel will make certain parts of the images much darker or lighter than when shown on a standard screen.  I’d like to get some feedback from Razer and/or others on this topic.  Is the 16” a good display for photo editing or do I need to look for a standard IPS display?   Thanks guys!

Hello everyone,after a firmware update, I am experiencing an issue with the Blade 16 202 OLED version. Upon switching it on, the OLED panel cycles through colors sequentially resembling a test menu mode for the display.Does anyone know how to disable this?Best regards. 

I can’t turn on mine razer laptop. It shows only a white light and nothing else. Hey, I have a RBA from 2019. I’ve run it as a desktop for the past 3 ish years. It does NOT have a battery. When I’m not using it I leave it off and unplugged.I use it for Photoshop and intermittent gaming. It’s about 5 years old and within those 5 years I rarely saw its GPU temp go over 74C. In fact it was running fine and two hours later (off and unplugged the whole time) I booted it up and launched Tekken 8, its GPU temp hit 95 within seconds, as soon as the opening cinematic started- and I assume it throttled to 10FPS in the menu. The GPU was only under ~30% load, drawing maybe 13-15 watts. The CPU temps were fine, as expected and consistent with those just a few hours ago.I immediately opened it to check for obstructions in the vents, everything was clean, I’d cleaned it a few months ago. I couldn’t see any damage anywhere. The next day, I replaced the thermal compound on both dies with Arctic MX-6. Dies and chips looked fine visually once cleaned. Nothing changed about the GPU te

Razer Blade 15 (Early 2022 Model)  RZ09-0421 | i7-12800H | QHD-240Hz | 32GB | 1TB | RTX3080TI.Purchased in Sept 2023 but rarely used as I have the PC. I didn't do any updates at the time. I was mid editing using an external monitor and all of a sudden lines appeared trough the entire screen like a switch being turned on. I was 2 hours into editing. The laptop its self was hot as it always is, especially nearer the screen at the top of the keyboard where its extremely hot.I've always had to have this laptop on top of an external laptop fan cooler due to the heat it generatesI much prefer using windows devices but my M1 Max after hours of editing doesn't produce any heat in comparison to the Blade. The original point of a laptop is so you can use them on your lap right? Well this cannot be used on your lap unless you want 3rd degree burns.Regardless, the heat I live with on a desk, but the screen with lines through it I cannot. If I knew how to repair laptops, I wouldn't be asking this q

Hello everyone, I have a BlackWidow X Chroma, and my Shift key suddenly stopped working. However, the issue is not with the keyboard itself because every time I reinstall the "Razer Synapse 3" drivers, the Shift key starts working again. But when I shut down my computer and turn it on the next day, the Shift key stops working once more.Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

I have a non touch FHD RZ09-0195.I am considering trying to ‘upgrade’ the display to the 4k touch panel. I would be replacing the entire lid/ panel assembly.As far as I can tell from the limited information online the display connectors seem to be the same for both versions, a 30pin connector to the motherboard. (Along with wifi and mic / camera connections)I can’t imagine there are different motherboards for the different panel versions.Does anyone have experience swapping between the two displays? Or are there any other reasons for incompatibility?Thanks!

I’ve upgraded to a Razer Blade 16 - 2024.There is a firmware update available to enable Hyperboost support.Razer Blade 16" (2024) | RZ09-0510 EC, Keyboard, and vBIOS Firmware UpdaterFor those of you who have applied the update, do you find yourself using Hyperboost often?  Is it good?  How hot does the laptop get?I prefer not to apply firmware updates unless there is a benefit. I own the Razer Laptop Cooling pad as well.

Hello dear community. It’s 2 years since I’m looking for a keycap for my laptop Razer Advanced 15, 2022.The key “D” got broken in the first month after the purchase. On daily/weekly basis I’m checking all google and ebay to find this and no luck. Askes Razer support and they couldn’t help. 2021 and earlier models doesn’t fit as they are different size. Maybe community power can help? Maybe another laptop/keyboard model has the same keycaps? Thanks in advance.
