Thanks. However, is there another brand I can use apart from nvidia and radeon? Nvidia is always out of stock and radeon doesn't ship to australia.
Depends on the host laptop, ultrabook maybe 1070ti/1080 or similar performance card due low tdp cpu for laptops with H/HQ cpu like 7700HQ or 8750H you can go as far as you can. Some Core v2 may have loud PSU fans depend users taste imo, using gpu with stoppable fans like evga cards may reduce the loudness.
