This will be the New Technology in our Generation, which is amazing ❤️

What exactly are you referring to?
The laptop or the processor?

Has Razer’s QC has improved? I am in the market for a thin and light gaming laptop. Razer Blade Advanced was my first choice but now I am looking ROG Zephyrus laptops as they are a much safer bet than Razer products, I guess. I don’t wanna spend a crazy amount of money on a laptop to just to get a faulty product. So please lemme know whether there has been any improvements or not?

I bought 4 different blades since 2015, only late 2016 had issue though it was not QC but more to software. Refurbished stealth 2016 still works fine on 2 years mix gaming work usage, and Blade 15 14 months gaming usage. So I would say in my case it is improved. All bought directly from Razer since in EU there’re maybe only few reseller who can offer better reliability than Razer Store.
Very satisfied with my purchase.
changed the ssd to 2to and the ram to 32 giga.
undervolt + some light overclock.

with the 2080 i have a score of 17670 at firstrike( 20548 graphic 16709 physic, 8998 combined).
Quite satisfied with those number as my gpu temps is at 73 degres and my cpu at 81.

Really happy with dbrand skin also. I would recommand it really protect and suit the blade.

In 1080p this laptop offer really good performance. The 240htz really help and is beautifull.

Really great laptop, now my couple of complain, you eed to work on the Shift plus Arrow key. it s not good.
Better webcam quality...

That all.

Can anyone with the OLED screen version check what is his discharging ratio overnight with the computer switched off. I have tested it two night now in a raw where before go to sleep I unplugged it from the power source and what I've noticed is that the battery level with the computer switched off within a range of 8-9 hours drops down to 89%-91%. That's quite a lot I would say. Then I found this thread /razer-blade-14-battery-self-discharge-fixed.17151/ with a similar issue and mentioning that the cause was the FAST STARTUP feature of the windows. However, after disabling it, I did not see any difference. Thus, I would appreciate if someone could test this on his rig.

Hey I cannot verify this but I can say
1) Fast boot windows definitely has an impact. Fast boot is basically a cheat suspend. You think you're switching off but really it's kicking out user processes and then suspending the system processes. It saves battery if you're rebooting frequently, but uses battery for longer period when you think your pc is off.
2) I now have a 2019 2080 model. I originally had a 2018 4k touch. I didn't notice any excessive drain on either. A couple of percent maybe each day.
3) it is possible you think your pc is turned off but it is actually just screen saver =black. On oled there is no visible difference.
4) it's remotely possible a firmware fault could keep pc from suspending. (let's not call it turned off). Again with Oled blacks you wouldn't be able to tell.

What is wrong-footing me is you said you disabled fast boot. Did you reboot and then power down?

Chris
Has anyone tried to install a secondary 2.5 drive? I have tried 3 different drives, and they will not fit. The LED indicator is blocking the way for the drive to be placed flush in the space.

Is it 9,5 mm drives? The sata bay on base model 2018 is designed for accept 7mm so maybe on 2019 same as well.

It's not the thickness, it's the actual width. Here's a photo showing the hard drive resting on the LED indicator, and one without the HD

Thanks for the feedback, I am quite sure that I am switching off the machine. In any case finally it seems that it was my bad, because I had activated the "Usb charge function" in the bios and apparently this causes the drain, especially I guess if you have any kind of peripherals attached. Since I disabled this option in the bios two days now the drain seems to be normal. I still have fast boot disabled on windows.

2080 max-q you say? Hmm. . .well. Sorry razer blade stealth. I think my wallet wants something more. Lol

Hookers? Just kidding, I agree my wallet doesn't ever feel full enough I could buy the maxed option, without having to sacrifice.
As Curtis "50cent" Jackson said I'm a window shopper.

Anyone else notice certain sites have products that your mind starts saying, "I wish I had a trust fund." Repeating 3x like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz?
Yeah, probably just me, that's ok.
just wow! hope i have the money to buy one

LOL.

Well considering the last gen laptops only went up to the 1070 max-q I was shocked they went with the 2080 max-q this time around. It's pretty solid in the Blade Pro since it runs at 100w instead of 90w. So basically it runs like a full RTX 2070. Which for how thin these things are I have to tip my helmet to razer.

I’m pretty sure that is same hdd with base 2018 from notebookcheck review. Can’t you tight it? From this notebookcheck picture it seems similar with your hdd position, it’s placed on led wire.
I have a stealth, but this could win me over someday

its even better when another company accidentally leaks a product before its actually released by a company like NVIDIA.

I have the oled

It sounds great for 4K Oled, Dave2d tested only 4 hours, jump to 6:20 on this video.

As mentioned on above video it’s factory cpu undervolted so it’ll bring better battery life, you can push more by dimming the brightness from keyboard&screen, turn off the Backlight logo, and killing softwares that works behind that eat the battery life a lot.

Yes

Done all that

So around 5 hours is ok
Wow dem specs 😬
I personally think that it's awesome. The CPU is good, and the GPU is good too. I am actually currently in desperate need of a good GPU. wow.
Why is the Razer Blade OLED available in UK and Germany but not in France ?
Should I take an Aero 15 OLED instead ?
