Which Razer Blade 15 should I buy

Hello my fellow Razer Insiders.

I am about to open a Computer/Tech shop. I will use a (Razer Blade 15) laptop to be my main hardware.

Usage
1) Cloud logistics
2) E-shop administration
3) Content creation
4) Discreet gaming in free hours (Overwatch for example), got my machinery at home, 3 floors above the shop

Budget
2700 Max max budget, with a lot of pain in my heart will be 2700 if it really worth it, but of course as much cheaper I can do the job, as preferable it is.

Preferences:
The cheapest Razer Blade 15 configuration that will do the job.

Questions:
Which CPU is needed for the above?
Which GPU is needed?
Which capacity of SSD is needed?
A friend lives in Germany (I live in Greece) and will buy the laptop for me, will the keys be in US format or the German one?

P.S. Please only responsible answers, this will be my lifetime work.

Thank you in advance

Don’t get a Razer laptop. They’re horrible. I have the 240hz 20170 max q version and the screen goes black sporadically and I have to put it into sleep mode and wake it back up. The machine is still on but the screen just doesn’t work correctly. Horrible from Razer, especially at that price.

Hi there
I don’t do 1 and 2, sometimes 3 mostly 4. But I think on your budget you can already get unit that can do all your tasks finely, Overwatch still runs super great on my 1070maxq 2018 model, will take time to slow the machine on this type of titles. So it’ll be enough with base 2019 model with rtx2060, for ssd it comes with nvme 512gb but it has free 2,5 sata bay so you can add it up to I think 4tb.
The keyboard only comes with german layout unfortunately if you buy in Germany from Razer store or reseller, try ask notebook.de it’s one of Razer reseller here so far I know if they can provide us layout if you’re really need it, in 2018 I saw user reported that he can order US layout from them, idk about 2019 model.

Wait support on your thread or rise the ticket from here. It might be hardware or software issue, let them check it for you. This could happen in any laptops not only Blade.

My friend!!!,

Thank you so much for the effort to answer to my enquiries. According to what you say, I found in razer.eu, rtx2060, 512nvme, 2,5 sata free, 144hz, 15 inch at 2149 euros, with US keyboard layout, distributing only in some other countries than my own (Greece). Luckily I have a friend in Denmark too. In my view, is exactly what I need too.... Problem is, it just went at NOTIFY ME status instead of buy....

Thanks for taking time to respond. Unlucky you.
Number 1: do not buy a Razer Laptop
If you forgo Number: 1, then Number 2: do not buy a Razer Laptop from the Razer Store.

My current and past experience with Razer has been and are horrible, with multiple cases to get a working laptop that has no issues ( excessive back light bleed, dead or stuck pixels, non functioning, laptop comes with scratches or signs of wear and tear) etc.

I've spent 5k dollars on a Razer Blade Pro 2017 4k edition almost a year ago, and still I'm in RMA to try the same laptop model that has no issues.

If you are still incline on getting a Razer Blade, god forbid, buy one from Amazon or MS store or Best Buy/ Geek Squad, so if you do have issues, you will be backed up by people who actually care or you can send your laptop back with little problems.

What I have a problem with is Razer's community, accepting the fact that buy items from the Razer Store is not a good idea. I've read plenty of posts regarding customers having issues with Razer products and their reply's are : you shouldn't have bought the item from the Razer Store, should have bought from Amazon, or MS store, or Best Buy. Why is this whole situation like this RAZER?

I never needed razer customer support (and I have a lot of their products, you can check my pc specs and peripherals and add Razer Phone 2 on them) except only once I had an app causing the fingerprint scanner to malfunction at my razer phone. They asked me for a video as proof and gave me an RMA, so i can send it to them. all this process in about a day. They were very supportive and caring. I didnt send it because I needed the phone for a trip I had arranged, but I was assured it will be back in a certain amount of time and after a very significant process. Additionally they wouldnt mind me sending it from Greece, although a friend of mine bought it for me in Germany and send it to me.

I wish it was so easy to order things to ship in Greece. Our Razer distributor here sucks and is completely outdated. Our resellers at "skroutz.gr" (the according "bestbuy") are pricing them hundreds of euros more than official site price, because they order it from the official site instead of Greek distributors. To order from the internet though, is quite hard, government is usually asking for import taxes, and most importantly im not keen of amazon and ebay transactions. Instead when I personally counteract with Razer and know that they send me their own product i feel safer.

In general I am ok with what you say and respect your opinion, but I am a huge fan of the opinion, that if you take care of your stuff, it will be ok. The kidney removal went fine so Im ready to go for a Razer Blade.

Hello TRoas,
Thank you for the response.
I am also a proud owner of a Razer Phone 2 and had no problems with the cell phone. To give Razer credit, I don't think that all of there products are trash. I own multiple Razer mice, keyboards and their Razer Phone 2, and all have been amazing experiences. This makes me believe that Razer is one of the leading brands in the Gaming peripherals market.
However, Razer Laptops are an entirely different story. I could share with you a couple of Razer RMA experiences if you desire some tips or pointers?
If you are inclined on buying a Razer Laptop, I wish you the best of luck and I hope it all goes well for you.

You don’t have to be worried buying Blade here in EU fortunately we’ve a good costumer protection law. Second Razer recently just brought here Razer care that can protect your system 3 years.

Razer Blade Pro 2017 was build more for enthusiast imo, at that time Nvidia didn’t even have maxq architecture, Razer kind tried make some innovations putting full fat 1080 mobile on such thin cassis and powered by a tiny ac adapter as well, so a good monitoring hardware and software side are needed which is i think is already enthusiast areas. I don’t have that model so I can’t comment a lot but in order to keep it in a good run apparently you should undervolting and under clocking it from what I saw on enthusiast forum. It might be vary depends the usage though.
About Razer System, I moved from MacBook Pro since 2014 to Razer Edge 2013, 2015 Blade 14 then, 2017 Blade 14 and current Blade 15 2018 as my main PC, none has hardware issues. Not mentioned ultrabook the stealth 2016 that i used for work for more than a good 2 years (just sold it recently in mint condition).
So user experience might also be vary, forgot to mention I rejected actually late 2016 Blade 14 model due Fans behavior (later addressed by bios update) and got 2017 model as replacement. If you’re curious why I have so many systems, it was because I want always newest hardware for a better performance so I sold old for the new one, but since 2018 after having Razer Core from Stealth setting in 2017, I just upgraded the card inside the core for keeping my hardware performance updated.

Before I bought the Razer Blade Pro 2017, I did a fair bit of research on the laptop. ( watching reviews, reading forums, reading customer reviews, etc). When I bought the laptop, I was fully aware of the components inside and how hot the laptop could get. So, in order to keep temperatures down without undervolting or underclocking the laptop, I would set either games to 1920 x 1080p resolutions. I would not recommend playing games for long periods of time at the laptop at it's 4k native resolution. The laptop produces a substantial amount of heat and the fan noise are loud to say the least.
With owning the laptop for almost a year now, there was about a 4- 6 month period where I had no issues with the laptop. The laptop was well taken care of, and has never left the desk office space. The rest of the time, has been through Razer RMA, send the laptop to Razer Repair Center for about 6-7 times in order to get a laptop screen that didn't have excessive back light bleed and/or dead/stuck pixels, a broken speaker system, etc. With sending the laptop back that many times, Razer removed the spec stickers and the laptop panel stickers (GTX1080/Mechanical Keyboard, and the 4k Sticker) and never returned them to me. Also, the overall box packaging has way more signs of ware.
