Hi everyone, i am a vivid razer macro user and i use it “Every single day!”

However this beta did actually improve the performance drastically for me, but it does not improve the quality of life for people like me.

 Lets hope they implement this few QoL stuff.

As u can see, we cannot tell the “Total” duration of the macro would be, so it would be nice if we can see that.
Also allow user to change the “Total” duration and it will automatically divide the time accordingly like the old synapse 3.
 

Also that 2 redbox, it could be use to have more stuff like a instant macro drag to your keyboard or mouse etc.
 

Allow user to highlight or drag the keys instead of having it like “Box” 

Also i just found out, theres no “Deselect all” button, so in order to deselect all, u need to check the box to select all then uncheck the box to deselect all. Very confusing to be honest.

Auto-save function.. its year 2024, there should be an Auto-save thing.. back in razer synapse 3 theres no “Save” button.. this is not good.

 

Right now creating this topic, i will update if i find more bugs or improvement for macro.

I agree with everything that was mentioned. Except the first tool, as it already exists. It only appears when there is no box checked.
In the same place you click to check/uncheck, you can also see the total duration of the selected macro.

Yes just i just found out that but i didn’t mention it.

It would be great if we could just drag the macros like this, and then a pop-up stating which kind of mode like “Play Once, Toggle, Do while holding” etc

 

Could also make the macro in here neater.. like in a folder etc since i have it in the same macro folder..

Yeah. Good ideas.

In the Feedback Feature, I suggested something similar, like folders in the context menu of the devices.

I have almost 240 macros (and growing) separated by folders in the Macro Module, but when I go on the Device's Module I need to find the macro I want to search alphabetically, that is good, but with folders, we would have fewer macros to search from to find the macro we want to bind.

Yes, the “Drag” macro image i post is like the best of all.. Easy to identify which macro youre selecting, and dragging towards keybind u want make it so simple and easy.

 

Also i found out theres a weird mini bug..

If u set “Link Game” to a Game, then u have that profile toggling to other profile, the profile will be bugged, and resort to default profile neither the “Link Game” or the Updated profile forced using keybind button.

Would suggest to take a deep look. From my understanding, Razer is forcing the “Link Game” profile to run this particular profile while in that game, however if u were to manually change the profile while in the game the profile will result to some other profile. Do check on this, best is allow user to set X amount of “Link Game” mouse / keyboard devices, then allow user to sort by priority, so even if “Link Game” is triggered, it will not retrigger if that particular profile matches the priority or allow user to “Set their own profile” while “Link Game” is triggered, or Ignore “Link Game” unless when user change screen. If u need deep dive will try to explain.

 

Also highly suggest to make use of all those empty spaces.. See this is so small.

And look at all those empty spaces.

Okay it seems that i found a major bug..

I am using Razer Viper 8kz.

Have 2 Mouse profile. One would be default (Not in game), the other would be in game profile.

Set the in game profile “Link Game” to any game you want.

Set any button to change sensitive cycle up, eg 1000 dpi to 3200 dpi.

Set your profile to default (Not in game).

 

If you go to the game, it will automatically change to game profile, and if u alt tab it will change back to default

^ This works, yes.

However, if u were to go to the game. press the button to change sensitive cycle it will break and change your game profile to default profile while youre still in the game. Your dpi would be the default dpi, meaning the cycle dpi didn’t even work.

 

Weird bug. need to check on this issue real quick.

I like how that post was 21 July 2022 and 1 year later the issue is still not resolved..
