GF Razer Naga Hex V.2 Number Buttons not responding

Hi all, My gf recently got a second hand Razer naga has has tried setting up the macro keys on the side of it for both basic use (things like back, forward, launch calculator) and in-game (tried setting switching weapon and such) but neither are working, everything else on the mouse seems to work fine (dpi raises and lowers correctly, RGB is changable) any idea why this could be and how to resolve. No troubleshooting has been done she tells me so give me the whole shabang. Thanks
