Razer Lancehead TE turning off suddenly

So sometimes I will be playing a game or doing anything on my computer and then the mouse stops working. Then after a few seconds the lighting turns off and then goes into default lighting, then sometimes goes back to normal lighting. The whole thing wastes about 5 seconds, and it's getting frustrating having it turn off when you need it the most. P.S. The mouse works again after the lighting turns back on, but will not work for ~4 seconds
