Razer Kraken Kitty BT Audio issues

Just got my brand new headphones today, only to find out that whenever i join a party in game and try and communicate, all of my game audio either completely shuts off or the audio quality drops to extremely unacceptable underwater like sound (gas station earbuds sound 10x better) The only time I can hear game audio and talk at the same time is if i set my mic to the internal laptop microphones. Tried messing with the headset in synapse but they don't even show up.
