Razer Blade 15 Advance (2018) Camera/Mic Problems

I recently noticed that my built-in camera and microphone are not working. Looking at the device manager the camera does not show up. The microphone looks like it is showing up but does not work on any programs including the settings - test window. I have made sure the drivers for the Mic are updated using the update function and I have made sure that my Bios is up to date as well. For the camera, I have tried looking for drivers or finding the camera that Razer used to see if there is a driver out there to no avail. I have looked at the forms and sean that people are having the same problem as me but there are no solutions. Has anyone found one?

Thank you for the link. I tried the privacy settings for both and when I go into different apps like Discord and Skype the camera and mic aren't detected.

I think this is a driver issue Try reinstalling your mic and cam driver using a new administrator account. If it is an application that is not able to detect the mic than it is the application issue Try updating the software and Windows also

I updated Windows and made sure I have the updated drivers from Razer. The camera still isn't showing in device manager. The mic is showing in device manager but when I go to test it still doesn't pick anything up.

This seems to be a common issue. I just noticed my webcam is not in the device manager list also. Just purchased this laptop in December 2020.

has anyone found a fix for this?
