Trouble getting mic to work with Kraken 7.1 mercury headset, please help!
Just recieved my new kraken mercury headset, using them through headset port with my G560 logitech gaming speakers with 3.5 single jack
Headset recieving sound fine but cant use mic!
Not even sure how to gwt the headset up on my synapse screen ( all other razer products show up and not sure how to connect headset as it not a USB connection!)
Tried plugging direct into PC with provided split cable for headset and mic but sound keeps running through speakers!
opened the sound setting to try change the input/output to headphones but they dont show up in selection choice any help would be greatly appreciated
obviously a bit behind the drag curve with technology and not had PC for a few years!

The port on your speakers is highly likely an audio-only pass through, which is why the mic will not work with that configuration. Anyways, are you getting any sort of pop-up messages when you plug in the headset directly to your PC? I'd appreciate it if you can put up screenshots of the Windows sound panel and your sound card utility.
You can upload files on GDrive or Dropbox if copy-pasting the images on the reply box doesn't work for you.
