Will using Razer Synapse on Genshin Impact result in a ban? (even without macro installed)

I've recently been seeing accounts on hoyolab and reddit talk about how using Razer Synapse in game resulted in an account ban. Personally, I've been using Synapse for years with the game and have encountered no problem. It still is concerning for players like me who has been with the game since it's release to be having second thoughts about using Synapse. If anyone has any reliable info about the topic that would be outstanding.
