My Nari Ultimate won't connect Xbox one


I am trying to connect my Nari Ultimate headphones to my xbox one controller using the 3.5mm cable. However, I hear no sounds. I check with another pair of headphones and the sound comes through clearly, so I know it's not the xbox, game or controller.

My headphones are normally used with my laptop, but the laptop is off. And once the 3.5mm cable is plugged in, the headphones appear to recognize the new "attempted" connection.

Any ideas?

Edit:

So I plugged the headphones with 3.5mm cable into my son's switch and they worked fine.

I plugged them back into the xbox controller and still no sound. None of this is making sense.

Interesting. I doubt that this has anything to do with the headset since it works properly on all the other platforms. Have you tried plugging it into another controller and maybe adjusting audio settings in the console? By the way, have you tried disabling haptic feedback before plugging it back into your Xbox One?

Ok. I found in the software how to disable the haptic feedback. That was on, now it is off. I tried it again and still no sound. So I tried the pair of Razer Kraken headphones that my son has...and they work fine. So the question is, what else do I need to check in the software settings for my Nari headphones? I went through what I could see, and everything is disabled. I know I'm missing something.

The Nari Ultimate is supposed to be plug-and-play in all platforms with a 3.5mm port by design. I was hoping that disabling the haptic feedback should have, at the very least, allowed the headset to work even if it was with limited volume. For now, you will want to test if there is a significant volume difference when the headsets that work are plugged into the box and the laptop.
