Razer mini siren stopped working

hi I have a razer mini siren that stopped working, I'll plug it in but my pc doesn't register that something has been plugged in, my computer did have a lot of things replaced and it lost a lot of apps that it had, could it be I'm missing a component? the mini siren worked just fine before things had been replaced, I'm asking here because I've tried every thing I can think of, I'll have to talk to my father about it since he was the one who originally built my computer and all that but any help fixing it would be nice
