Mouse Pad Issues

Good evening, I recently made a post about my Mamba TE not reading the Goliathus mouse pad correctly. I tried calibrating the mouse, adding the mouse pad and resetting the mouse to no avail. Based on a moderator recommendation that the Mamba, because it is a laser mouse, does not work well on soft mats, I purchased a hard mat, Firefly V2. The tracking is even worse. I was hoping to have a Razer keyboard (which I am enjoying), mouse pad and mouse but it if I cant get it right then my only option will be to return them and go with another maker. Any ideas are greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.
