Deathadder Elite lights won't turn on

Basically title. I got my Deathadder elite around 2 years ago and everything worked great, I set up synapse and the lights worked. Sometime after (I can't pinpoint exactly when) the lights just stopped turning on when I would boot up my computer, and haven't come back on since. I had never unplugged the mouse or moved it to a different USB port before that, but I tried every USB port on my computer and still no lights. Synapse still recognizes the mouse, the lights are set to be on at full brightness and I can go in and customize the lighting profile, but the lights are always off. Everything else about the mouse works great, I've never had any issues with it other than this. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
